Road Surface Management System Report Results
In March 2019, the town voted to approve appropriations to perform an inventory and evaluation of paved town roads using a road surface management software (RSMS) to develop a detailed management plan with recommendations for future improvements. The Lakes Region Planning Commission performed this assessment and created this plan in partnership with the NH Department of Transportation and UNH Technology Transfer Center. Inventory and Assessments were entered into the RSMS software for analysis, prioritization, and generation of repair strategies. Repair strategies and a 10-year budget plan have been prepared in partnership with the town and presented within this report. This management plan will be used as a tool by the Highway Dept.
